The Karnataka Government has stated that it is struggling with quarantine facilities for people returning from high-risk coronavirus states. Moreover, the passengers arriving in the state can choose testing in private labs at a cost of Rs 650 which will be conducted under the pooling method. According to the ICMR guidelines, it is the responsibility of the private labs to closely monitor and collect the samples at railway stations, airports and other centres. With the support of people, the State government has been able to contain the spread of coronavirus pandemic. The Chief Minister has launched two immunity-boosting products which are prepared by the AYUSH Directorate in Karnataka - a kashaya mix and an Unani inhaler. The products will be provided free to all those infected with coronavirus and quarantined. At present, the state has the maximum number of laboratories which are capable of testing for Covid-19 thereby, proving beneficial in the treatment of the deadly virus. As the State gears up to implement Unlock 1.0, the government has instructed the private companies to abide by the precautionary measures. Around 50% of the workforce of tech companies are allowed to function including various construction activities, manufacturing of packaging materials, courier services, and many others. The rest of the private employees of the firm can work from home. Other important activities are also allowed outside the non-containment zones identified by the authorities.
