Following the government’s decision on the phase-wise unlocking of the lockdown, states are gearing up to open up businesses and economic activities. Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, K Palaniswami has granted permission to partially open up public transport and other public services. The unlock 1.0 also called the lockdown 5.0 for containment zones such as Tamil Nadu is until June 3. However, the state has some serious concerns about the resumption of economic activities. As the critical condition of the state can soon collapse like Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu has announced to maintain lockdown along with strict guidelines issued by district authorities. Under MHA guidelines, new rules suggest that more employees can work in private companies. Although these employees have to maintain six feet distance and no sharing of food items is allowed inside the premises. More IT companies and IT-enabled services are allowed with 20% of total staff, up to a maximum strength of 40 persons. However, religious places, bus services and Metro trains can still not function in these areas. But public transport will resume from June 1
